Morality is in your hands

In our race to self-expression, the idea of morality has become unpopular and some see it as an unnecessary relic of a bygone era. What this fails to recognise is the way that the human race is structured around moral principles in a subtle way. The “developed” world has become accustomed to believing that it holds the key to progressive thinking and the rest of the world will somehow catch-up as time goes on. When we achieve our inner awakening, we begin to realise that this is a completely wrong idea, destructive to the stable societies that have developed over thousands of years.

So where do we turn to in order to understand what morality is? The worlds religions have been trying to do this job, but without inner awakening, have not been able to prove through the intellect that morality is essential to human life. The proof for this comes not through the brain but through direct understanding brought about by this inner awakening. When we achieve this state, one of the first things we experience is sensations in the fingertips which connect to the subtle centres (chakras) in the body. These sensations tell us about the condition of the chakras, whether or not they are in good condition or have been damaged through our actions.

.

So what is it that damages a chakra? The simple answer is that anything that clashes with our inbuilt “code of right conduct” does that. This is a sort of template of ideal behaviour which is built in to all of us and is expressed in writings like the ten commandments in Christianity or the laws of Dharma in Hinduism and Buddhism. All the major religions talk about this in some form but without being able to connect us with the source of it. Each chakra expresses different qualities in our mental and physical being, and if any of those qualities are transgressed by our desires and actions then it will be recorded in the chakra by damaging it a little. Over lifetimes this damage builds up until it causes us real problems, both physically and mentally.

The good news is that when we attain our inner awakening, we can put right those issues from their roots. Just the act of meditating, once we have our inner awakening, raises the kundalini energy which clears all the chakras in the body while we are in thoughtless awareness. This is something that everybody can experience straight away. When we stop meditating, the chakras gradually revert to somewhere near their original condition, but a little bit better than before. The cumulative effect of meditating and feeling the kundalini energy inside over a longer period will balance all the inner problems and leave us in a state of peace and tranquillity permanently.

Despite all the hype about food, medicine, lifestyle and other “cures” for our inner problems, Inner Awakening is the real key to putting these right.
