“Inner Awakening” is in your hands

.

”Only after Self Realisation, and only then, is there a direct experience of the Spirit. It then manifests its powers in the human personality, and it’s light enlightens the consciousness into a new awareness.”

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

For thousands of years, people have been seeking an inner awakening, otherwise known as “enlightenment”, leading to “self-realisation”. Few people succeeded in attaining it. Today, in contrast, anyone who sincerely desires their inner awakening can attain it easily because humanity has evolved sufficiently for this to happen. This time has been called the “blossom time”, when it is everyone’s birth right to evolve to this higher level of consciousness and as it is the natural next step in our evolution, it cannot be paid for.

The experience of Inner Awakening takes place through a mothering energy known as the “Kundalini”, which lies dormant until awakened, in the sacrum bone at the base of the spine in each individual. As the Kundalini rises, it nourishes and balances the subtle energy centres in the body.

The awakening of the Kundalini also integrates our mental, physical and emotional being, which relaxes us completely.  When the energy pierces the fontanelle bone on top of our head, in the limbic area of our brain, it can be felt in our hands and also as a cool breeze emerging out of the top of our head. At this point, we experience the silence of “thoughtless awareness”, and the “yoga” (union with the universal unconscious) takes place. We enter into a deep state of meditation in which we become collectively conscious and can actually feel the all-pervading power in our hands as feelings of heat and tingling in the fingers, through our central nervous system. In the Koran, it is written that at the time of resurrection (Al-Quiyamah) our hands will speak.

How Sahaja Yoga works – the process of inner change:

The following describes the sequence of events which happen to most people practising Sahaja Yoga as they grow in the meditation:

  • Firstly you will experience your “Inner awakening”.  This happens in a moment at your first encounter and you will feel the change on your central nervous system.  It gives sensations of tingling, heat and cool in the hands and other parts of the body, together with an inner peaceful silence in the brain when you are meditating, known as “Thoughtless Awareness”.  This is more and more evident if you work on yourself over a long period.  Everybody can get their inner awakening.
  • You will then need to work on yourself though meditation, to settle your system using the new sensations in the hands and other parts of the body to guide you.  Achieving this balance fully is a lifelong process but the greatest effects are sometimes felt very quickly – often in days…
  • Your health problems – caused by imbalances in the bodies subtle system – gradually begin to drop away without any effort on your part over a long period as the subtle centres, the “Chakras” come in to balance.
  • You gradually experience meditation more quickly and easily every day.
  • Meditating by yourself is easy to control and to keep in your daily routine, but you will discover how meditating with others helps you to grow more quickly, even though it requires more organisation to achieve.
  • You will find out how you can work on others to help them meditate more easily by interpreting the sensations in your own hands.  You can give inner awakening to others as soon as you have it yourself – like one candle lighting another.
  • You will gradually become aware of reality – not the ego-driven world, but instead, a natural way of living without selfish desire.
  • Your general mental health outcome improves with regular meditation.
  • Your “Emotional Intelligence” develops automatically to enable you to understand the motivations and desires of others.
  • It has been proven that “Grey Matter” in the brain, necessary for a number of higher cognitive functions, develops a great deal in people who practise Sahaja Yoga meditation regularly.
  • You become aware of situations and ideas that generate auspicious energy which is positive for your development and that of others, through sensations on the hands and an inner intuitive knowledge that develops over time.
  • You become aware of those things that cause problems for yourself and society in general, enabling you to avoid those situations.
  • Gradually your “Self Realisation” becomes a reality and your “Self” is expressed in every aspect of your life so that you live in complete confidence and contentment.

Your health and inner well-being will improve continuously unless you fail to address the deeper issues that are evident in the sensations in the fingers of both hands.  It is your choice.  If you don’t, you will still be in a better situation than you would have been without getting you Inner Awakening, but you won’t achieve the full transformation of the awareness from material to spiritual that is possible.

These steps occur over a period ranging from days to decades depending on your inner development at the beginning and throughout.  Progress isn’t about your state of health but more about your motivation – your inner desire to move on from a human state of existence to being fully aware of fundamental divinity of the Universe.

This is automatic and essentially there is nothing to learn in the normal sense.  It is a matter of natural development like the process of evolution that has already turned us in to thinking, feeling human beings.  There are a few basic things to learn, like “which finger is connected to each subtle centre in the body”, but that is all you need to enable you to work on yourself and others.

The position of the founder, “Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi” in all this is fundamental.  Before she lived, there was no way that large groups of people could experience their inner awakening.  She spent her whole life showing people how to get it and her knowledge was there in her when she was born and she used it throughout her life for the benefit of humankind.  This, puts her in the same category of people as the founders of all the worlds main religions, who were born to show people how to use divinity to live and evolve in the best way possible.

And remember.  It is all completely free of charge.

If you would like to experience this, we have both online and face-to face meetings all over the UK and most other countries. Inner awakening is always free-of-charge and there are no fees for any of our courses, sessions or advice.
