A new way of determining what is right from what is wrong.

Are you sick and tired of “fake news”? There was a time when the media had some accountability for what they published, but now it feels as if those standards belong to a past time and have gone forever. Social media has been a great social leveller, but it also has the nasty side effect of amplifying negativity and fakeness to a level where it hurts.
So, what to do about it? There is a solution to this which is unknown to most people in the Western world but is becoming mainstream elsewhere. It involves changing our awareness in a way that improves our in-built wisdom so that we can spot fakeness. Sounds like a tall order? Well, it may actually be possible, and it’s easy to do!
The thing is that there is a subtle system in our body which has been known about for a very long time, and it is possible for this system to become energised in a process known as “Inner Awakening” leading to “Self Realisation”. It was described for the first time in ancient Indian scriptures but has become the de-facto currency of the new age movement since the 1960’s. The only problem at that time was that it was virtually impossible for people to experience it because the development of humanity hadn’t reached the right point. There seems to have been a change though, which enables the long-discussed promise of Inner Awakening to be actually achieved by anybody who wants it.
This first came about in 1970 when an Indian Lady, Mrs Nirmala Shrivastava, developed a method of awakening the mothering energy at the base of the spine known as the Kundalini. She found that it was possible for many people to experience this at once, instantly, and she later went on to travel the world, showing people how they could experience the same thing too. Her lifelong belief was that this knowledge should be given free-of-charge because it is a built-in process in the body and this is the time in history when it is finally able to happen.
.
So, what happens when we get this Inner Awakening? The energy at the base of the spine becomes activated and travels up the spine and into the head. At this place it enters a region, known in ancient times as the “Sahasrara Chakra”. This is where the magic happens and the awakening occurs. The evidence of this is feelings in the central nervous system to start with. There may be feelings of heat or tingling in the fingertips and other parts of the body. The fingers are connected with the subtle centres in the body and a tingling sensation means that the centre connected with that finger has a problem – so hey presto! We have a way of diagnosing illness and issues caused by our habits and lifestyle choices built into us to use whenever we want! The really nice thing about the experience is that you automatically enter a state of meditation where all the thoughts in your head stop and you can experience real inner peace.
So, back to the subject of this post – fake news. How is this useful in the inner war we have with fakeness in society? Well, those sensations in the fingers also have another purpose. They can discern truth from untruth! How? Well, when we have settled down and are feeling relaxed, without any thoughts in our head, we are in a state of meditation. This is normally quite difficult to achieve, but when you have your Inner Awakening, you will find it comes quite naturally without effort. Once we are in that state, we can just hold the subject of our question in our mind for a few moments and we will begin to feel those sensations in our fingers again. This, with practise, is what is going to give you your answers.
If we are thinking of a situation that is good for our spiritual development, we will probably feel a sensation of coolness in our fingers. If, on the other hand, the subject of our question has an answer that is negative and bad for us then we might feel heat or tingling in the fingers. So, good is cool and bad is hot or tingling. You can’t ask questions like “will my horse win the 3:20 at Haydock Park?”, it’s not for that, but it will give you reliable answers that are connected with good and bad in the truest sense – those things that are good for humanity and your own spiritual growth vs. those things that aren’t. Those things that actually matter rather than those that are of passing significance.
